Funds and investment platforms managed by Castlelake acquire mid-life aircraft and engines and actively seek opportunities to purchase assets from aircraft lessors, airlines and other aircraft owners and investors.

  • Fleet transitions: Castlelake helps to manage efficient fleet transitions for airlines or asset owners taking delivery of new aircraft
    or looking to reduce inventory.
  • Sale-leaseback solutions: These include the acquisition of assets as a purchase lease-back transaction, helping a carrier generate cash and
eliminate asset residual risk while maximizing operational flexibility.

Leasing and Sales

Specializing in mid- to end-of-life commercial, in-production aircraft, Castlelake’s fleet provides for a wide range of options in the outright sale or leasing of assets. The current fleet includes 314 aircraft on lease to approximately 80 carriers globally.* Castlelake provides commercial aircraft on lease from the existing fleet it manages as well as through sale and lease-back agreements with carriers.
